Here's how we can work together.
30–60 minutes | $40–$65/lesson
30-minute lessons ($40/session) are geared toward beginning- to intermediate-level students, while 60-minute lessons ($65/session) are geared toward high school students and intermediate- to advanced-level players.
New students can start with a FREE 45-minute trial lesson to help us determine the right placement for you.
This is where the real work happens. Longer lessons give us the time and space to go beyond the notes — working on tone, technique, musicianship, and the habits that make you a stronger player week after week. Every lesson is tailored specifically to you: your goals, your repertoire, your learning style.
Weekly lessons are strongly encouraged. Consistency is what builds real progress, and showing up regularly is the single most important thing you can do as a student.
Payment: Payment is due by the 3rd of each month and covers the sum of that month's 4 guaranteed lessons.
Two 60-minute lessons | $140 total
Designed for students with an audition on the horizon — All-State, region, youth orchestra, school placement, summer festival, or anything else — who want targeted, honest feedback to walk in confident.
Lesson one digs into your TMEA etudes or audition excerpts: notes, technique, and the practice habits that'll carry you through the weeks leading up to the audition.
Lesson two is polishing and a full mock audition — a run-through of the real experience, plus performance and calming techniques to help you walk into the room steady and prepared.

Bring me in for your clarinet section, and let's get to work. Sectional coaching is available for middle school and high school orchestras, bands, and youth ensembles throughout the Austin area. Sessions are tailored to your group's specific repertoire and goals — whether that's cleaning up intonation, building blend, or preparing for a concert or competition.
